Samandal Comics以黎巴嫩貝魯特為基地，是首度以阿英法三語通行的中東國際漫畫雜誌。線上可以下載0-4集全書試讀！並接受國際投稿提案。官網上宣稱倫敦另類重要漫畫店Gosh Comics和柏林漫畫三巨頭（Renate漫畫圖書館、國際漫畫品味書店Grober Unfug、地下風情多元漫畫書店Modern Graphics）都可以找到。但是Ellen去Gosh撲空＠＠。
「 我想要出版我媽也會想要讀的書。」 Drawn & Quarterly 創意總監 Tom Delvin 笑呵呵說 右邊三個桌面與整面牆全是視覺文學 視覺文學（ Graphic Novel ）是近三十年來國際上興起的新文類。 80 年代，美國重要作家如 Art Spiegelman 等人脫離主流漫畫風格帶起獨立漫畫新浪潮。 2000 年前後，新世代作者接棒陸續創造叫好叫座的代表作，進而帶動主流閱讀市場，並在世界出版不景氣之下逆勢成長，德、英、荷、加等視覺敘事小國如雨後春筍陸續成立新銳出版社，而英美正規大型文學出版社也都開始投入經營。國際暢銷作品如奪下安古蘭金獸大獎，利用幽默筆調結合旅行報導的 《耶路撒冷微感受（ Jelusalem ）》 或者橫掃美國重要傳記類與漫畫獎項、蟬聯紐約時報暢銷榜並改編音樂劇的 《悲喜交家（ Fun Home ）》 都是經典例子。甚至日本漫畫作品翻譯到海外，只要目標為成人讀者，文學藝術性強烈，也都都被歸類到視覺文學的分類當中，譬如妖怪大師水木茂或者法國銷量比日本更高的國際大家谷口治郎。 他們的作品被視為是具備普遍性情感，而且感性知性深度兼備的文學大作。
